Dietitian’s Services

The Dietitian visits patients in their homes to assist the patient with nutrition/dietary disorders which may have been caused from various illnesses such as anemias, cancer, post surgeries and diabetes/wound/ulcers.

The Dietitian assesses pulmonary disorders, lower GI disorders, weight history, activity levels and dietary intake and analysis.

 

The Dietitian:

  • may prescribe an appropriate diet,
  • may give meal preparation assistance,
  • menu and grocery list planning,
  • laboratory results counselling,
  • lifestyle changes,
  • counselling about eating habits/weight monitoring,
  • parenteral feeding assistance and enteral feeding assistance,
  • ADP applications for feeding devices and
  • nutritional counselling and advice.
